FB Live: When a Child says #MeToo

February 14 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

What do you say when your child says #MeToo? How can we protect our children from sexual assault and harassment? Join us for “Live with Muslim Nannies” as our Founder & CEO, Khadijah Abdullah has this very important conversation with Sameera Qureshi, Director of Sexuality Education and Training at HEART Women and Girls.

What is Me Too? Founded by Activist Tarana Burke in 2006 and went viral in 2017 after a Tweet from actress, Alyssa Milano, #MeToo is a two-word hashtag used on social media to help demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace. The movement has shown many they are not alone, whether male or female.

“I see you, I hear you, I understand you and I’m here for you or I get it.” – Tarana Burke
